CODEMOB is a European project that will offer free training for young people on programming and the effective use of mobile devices, which are key digital skills for the future.

Sixty young unemployed people in Belgium, Croatia, Hungary and Spain (15 in each country) can participate in this learning experience through a training program designed and taught by e-facilitators. Currently, the authors have designed a survey to better understand the needs, interests and expectations of these young people.

Through this form (available in different languages), CODEMOB approaches and asks youngsters' opinion about how to structure their studies and their interest in participating in this international opportunity. We can anticipate that the training is done through an online platform, available in the different languages of the participants.

This project aims to meet the present and future needs of the labor market, since in the following years 90% of jobs in all sectors of the economy will require a certain level of digital skills. The coding program is a way to teach algorithmic and computational thinking, a catalyst of thought that combines creativity, a structured approach, efficiency and capacity planning. The effective use of mobile devices like smartphones and tablets can greatly enhance the learning and personal development, social skills, connectivity, and ultimately the ability to find a good job.

If you are part of a telecentre, please, help us reach young people! They just have to fill in the survey and you will be directed towards a digital future!
